Notting Hill Carnival 2023 - Day 1

An Event open to everyone

This year I experienced Notting Hill Carnival for the first time with the aim of capturing the stunning portraits typical of the bombastic, over the top celebration.

The historic event, celebrating Caribbean culture truly felt open to everyone who wanted to join in the fun or dance the day away to the amazing tunes of the sound systems roaming the streets.

The first day of Carnival reflected the spirit I was hoping to find, as it was flooded by a multitude of amazing people I had the pleasure to meet and photograph.
